01Are Formsly forms compliant with the new Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG)?
Yes, absolutely. Formsly was developed specifically for the strict requirements of the new Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). We completely avoid US-based cloud providers for hosting, do not use tracking cookies for end users, and provide you with a legally secure Data Processing Agreement (DPA) directly upon registration.
02Where exactly are form data and file uploads stored?
All data, responses, and uploaded files (such as PDFs or images) are stored exclusively on dedicated servers in Switzerland (Zurich data center). Our infrastructure partner is Exoscale, a certified Swiss cloud provider. This protects your data from access by foreign authorities (e.g. the US CLOUD Act).
03How does Formsly protect my forms from spam and bots?
We use a modern, self-hosted bot protection system (ALTCHA). Unlike conventional solutions, no user data flows to third-party providers or to the US. Verification is privacy-friendly and invisible, taking place directly on our Swiss servers.
